Where can I find the prices of postage stamps from the 1900’s?

Im trying to find the prices of postage stamps from 1900-1999.
I dont mean the price to buy them right now like a collector’s items.
Im trying to fing how much the stamp is worth and how much it was sold for in the corresponding year.
Ex. you can buy stamps for $0.50 right now.
you could buy stamps for $____ in 1920/1930/1940 etc.
Thanks! :)
